Battersea Power Station: Industrial Icons Reborn
Four white chimneys on the Thames now tower over shops, restaurants and riverside walks. Inside the refurbished turbine halls, architecture meets leisure in a huge, light‑filled space.
Things to Do
- Lift 109: A glass elevator to the top of a chimney for river views (ticketed).
- Riverside: Boardwalks, art installations and outdoor seating.
- Retail & Eats: Mix of global brands and independent treats inside the halls.
Getting There
Northern Line extension to Battersea Power Station, or a Thames Clipper boat for a scenic arrival.
Tip: Evening lights show off the brickwork — photographers, bring a tripod.
