Liberty London: Tudor-Style Luxury & Design

Liberty’s mock-Tudor frontage is one of London’s most photographed buildings. Inside, it’s a treasure trove of fashion, beauty, interiors and the famous Liberty fabrics.

History

Founded in 1875, Liberty became known for its distinctive prints and role in the Arts and Crafts movement. Its building was constructed in the 1920s using timber from historic ships.

Shopping

Expect luxury fashion, accessories, jewellery, perfume and beauty. The interiors section has eclectic furniture and art pieces. The fabrics floor sells Liberty’s iconic floral prints by the metre.

Atmosphere

Wood-panelled staircases, atriums and creaky floors give Liberty a boutique feel despite its scale.
